Society of St. Vincent De Paul

The Society of St. Vincent De Paul at St. Michael's Church, Kattoor, is part of a global Catholic organization dedicated to serving the poor and needy. With a focus on helping those in need, the society offers material support while working to grow in faith through acts of charity.
There are two active conferences – one for men and one for women – that work together to make a difference in the community. Affiliated with the Alleppey Diocesan Council, the members are driven by a deep Christian commitment to care for others.
The society's efforts include adopting families and children in need, offering financial assistance, and providing scholarships for students. During key occasions like the St. Michael's Feast, the conferences organize stalls to sell religious articles, with the proceeds going towards helping women get married and supporting the education of underprivileged children. At Christmas and Easter, they distribute gifts to the less fortunate, spreading joy and hope.
